How to concentrate your mind?





               Do you find it difficult to focus your mind on one thing for more than a few moments? Does your mind constantly jump from one thought to another? You can improve your focus and strengthen your concentration skills.The power of concentration is essential for success in every area of life, at work and at home, at school and in college, in sports and in business, for achieving goals and completing tasks, and for self-improvement and meditation. With a focused mind, you will do everything more efficiently, better, and in less time.


1) Understand what concentration is:
                  “Concentration is taking your mind off many things and putting it on one thing at a time.” 

2) Stay calm. 
                         Deep concentration is a matter of increasing or directing your life-force or conscious, cosmic energy. The more of this kind of energy you have, the better. Scattered energy doesn’t help. It must be calm, focused energy. Learn to be calmly concentrated and be concentratedly calm. 

3) Take breaks. 
                         Go outside and breathe deeply or take a brisk walk. Make yourself do this often and you’ll be able to return to your task recharged and ready to focus more creatively.

4) Learn to meditate:
                         Meditation is the most powerful of all concentration enhancement techniques. Learn a few simple meditation techniques and practice them at least five minutes daily. 

5) While meditating, watch your breath  
                        Don’t control it in any way, just observe. This teaches you to focus your mind on one thing at a time. As you observe your breath, it will slow down, along with your mind  and you move into a dynamic, peaceful  state of being. Your mind will become recharged and creatively receptive.

6) Count. 
                        If you find it difficult to let go of your thoughts, try counting slowly as you breathe. Watch your thoughts and try to resist following them. Turn your attention to the count as you breathe out.
7) Find a comfortable position and don’t allow yourself to move. 
                        
                         Concentrate on what you are doing or watching, drawing your attention away from physical distractions, and focus your thoughts on your task.

8) Monitor your mind and take second thoughts.

                         Noticing where your mind has gone , gives you the chance for a second thought.  That very thought disengages your brain from where it has wandered and activates brain circuits that can help your attention to return to the work at hand.

9) Practice a daily mindfulness session.

                        Practice the mind concentration tricks not in a single day, but in everyday. Thats will give a good concentration power.

How to increase drinking more water ?



 These five simple rules will help you to get more water into your life. It's great for your health.

1. Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning.
              

                This will wake you up and help your body replace any fluid lost when you were sleeping.

2. Carry a small bottle of water around with you.

 
               This will not only remind you to drink more but it's also an easy way of keeping track of how much you're drinking. If you fill it up , you can reuse it !

3. Add some flavour.

 
               If you really can't get the taste of water on its own, try adding a small amount of fruit juice, a squeeze of lemon or lime. The lemon can even help with weight loss.


4. Set an alarm.

 
              Every hour fill up a glass of water and make sure you finish the glass before the next hour. You could even set a reminder on your computer at work, or on your phone.

5. Eat water-rich foods.
 

           You can also eat the water rich foods.

              3.   Don’t have negative thoughts on things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present movement.

             4.     Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Take a 10 - 30 minutes walk everyday and while you walk smile.


             5.     Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip


            6.     No one is in charge of your happiness expect you


            7.     Smile and laugh more


            8.     Spend time with people over the age of 70. try to make at least three people      smile each day under the age of 6


           9.     What other people think of you is none of your business


          10.     The best is yet to come. no matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up

10 simple ways to be happy



1)  Live in the present moment.
            This is one of the most important keys to a happy life. Past is gone, future is not yet here, the only moment you really have is “NOW”. So, enjoy it!
      
       2)  Never criticise other people
even if the temptation to do so is very big! Criticism and judging is negative energy, it can only cause negative feelings and bring harm to your inner harmony. Also, remember, it’s only your opinion which can be a mistake.

       3)  stop caring about what others think
        Especially if they put on you labels that you don’t like or if they try to bring you down.  Ignore all of those. Of course, accept encouragements and uplifting faith in you from people who love and care about you, but never try to please everybody.

      4)  Don’t take rejection personally.
At some point we all face rejection. Instead of taking it personally, use it as a learning experience. Accepting and learning from rejection is one way to guide you to success.

      5)  Appreciate yourself.
 It’s OK and something that a lot of people don’t do enough. Spend 5 minutes tonight with thinking about or writing down in journal the things you can appreciate about yourself and how far you have come.


     6)  Be 5 or 10 minutes early.
            This will make travel time a time of relaxation and renewal rather than a time of stress and negativity added to your day. Plus, you’ll be on time.

     7)  Learn to laugh.
Learn to laugh often and dwell on the positive. What you focus on – grows, so focus on great and positive things rather than on your mistakes and failures. Count your blessings and not your miseries.

  8)  Know what you want.
Take time to figure out your goals in all areas of life, like this you multiply your chances to get exactly what you want. It’s like taking a taxi and saying to driver: “Take me to New York.” The driver might drop you in any area of New York and this probably won’t be the place you will like. But if you would tell exactly the street name and number, you would get exactly where you want to be. Being precise while choosing your life’s goals is extremely important.

  9)Share goodness with other people.
The most beautiful castle in the world doesn’t bring any joy, if you don’t have a person to share it with. Sharing and giving goodness to others brings the true feeling of satisfaction and happiness. Share your time, share your love, help other people and you will feel happier.

10)Learn to listen the voice of your soul or your intuition.
 It happened to me many times when, for example, before doing something my “inner voice” (or intuition) told me the right way to do it (I kind of knew it inside), but I stubbornly continued to go my own way and thus, it took a lot longer to achieve my goal. Now I know how important it is to listen to my soul’s gentle whisper.
